TGS 08: Warning - Werehog spotted prowling game show

Just a fun post really, the boys at Kotaku have posted up a video of Sonic’s Werehog incarnation, stalking around the Japanese gaming show.
To be honest, I had completely forgotten about the Werehog being in Sonic Unleashed. With all the latest videos, we have only seen the normal hedgehog Sonic action. Always nice to be reminded that the game could have a (potential) downside to it…
Let’s hope the Werehog is worth advertising.

i still dont think the Werehog stages are going to be that much of a downside. Ever since i first saw it i thought it still looked like fun, im even more so convinced now that theyve shown refined controlling and more moves.
In fct, im a little more worried about the normal sonic stages having the same control issues as Secret Rings, as gameplay vids have shown, its all fun and games till a wall is hit, and the game has to break out of its sprint mode and into normal 3d platforming. Which breaks flow alot more than transforming into a fighting lyncanthropic badass at key points in the level :p

I like the proportions of the were-sonic costume better than the sonic one (well at least the sonic costume that was shown in the picture of “summer of sonic ‘08)

Aw…this makes me sad.
Why couldn’t TT-Oxford have got a giant Evil Crash in a costume when Twinsanity came out? That would have been so awesome…

reminds me of ristar so i dont see it as much of a problem. i hate supersonic anyway so the
werehog is a welcome change

Ironically, Destructoid finds the Werehog sections much much more interesting than the Hedgehog sections.
