New Infinite Space info released

Famitsu Magazine (who released the 7th Dragon info) has released new info for the game Infinite Space. Here is a summary of the information released:
- The game will be a large scale space opera RPG (drama?).
- You will not fight with characters, you will captain a battleship in space instead.
- You will travel around and collect modules to freely upgrade and customize your fleet.
- You can collect new crew members that all have their own skills and specialties that will end up changing the strategy and abilities in your fleet.
The game is scheduled to be released this upcoming spring in Japan. No specific date for the west, other than sometime in 2009.

The whole “commanding a ship” thing sounds like Eve Online. Similarities pretty much end there, though. Interesting bullet points, but as with 7th Dragon, nothing of real substance to go on.
