It seems all the whining has paid off, we got the attachments. But what if we want extra plastic maraca shaped attachment or even a room full of them? Well now you can for the low price of $14.99 (each).

Think its overpriced? You have to calculate that it comes in Samba De Amigo red, that is a hard color to obtain and that each one was hand sculpted by monkeys.

BOO! Too much money!

Are any included with the game? That might make me feel a little better.

Beside being pricey, it seems that you can not use them if you choose the 2 wiimotes play mode … ( 1 shell for the wiimote and one of the nunchuk) kinda sucks …

@Psycho_Echidna

YOu don’t get it! they want you to buy 2 sets! that way you have 2 wii mote maraca’s when your playing alone, and when a friend comes over you have 2 sets of maraca’s

That’s probably what I’ll end up doing :(
I still can’t wait for this to come out though. Setting up the maracas on the dreamcast takes a lot of time.

Awesome!
14$ a pop, is not bad at all. This little rumble, maraca sound and vibration offer a REAL element of feel and authenticity to this game.

you could just hold real maracas while holding your Wiimotes, but they might run you more then 14$ at local music store XD

The reason they are selling them individually is so that you can choose to buy either 1 of each type or 2 wii-mote versions. Some people will play the game with two wii-motes.

In the grand scheme of shitty Wii add-ons, these actually look pretty great!

I don’t think the price is too bad… although no doubt a UK release will be £15 (about $30) which is not so great.

But think this could be one attachment which does add to the gameplay properly.
Do they also have beads in them and make noise when they shake? Because that would certainly make them worth it.

If you play the game with Two Wiimotes, they do make noise ike Maracas, and vibrate slightly.

But if you are playing with Wiimote and Nunchuck - they don’t make noise. Which does kind of ruin the play a little. So if the addons made noise, then it would be super.

More functional than wheels! ;)

As long as they have tha weight and rattle of the originals, I’ll probably buy two sets of these. I reckon the UK price will be about £7 like the Wii Wheels are. I also think Sega would be daft not to make a bundle of this with the game, but if that HMV placeholder was to go by we will get such a bundle.

2 plastic sandwich bags!

2 rubber bands!

1 bag of skittles!

Open skittles bad and separate into 2 parts.
distribute both portions equally in each bag.

secure bag opening over both wiimotes with rubber bands.

Have fun and feel like a jackass doing it.
