GC 2008: Golden Axe Beast Rider

Just a few new screens from the new Golden Axe game. While some people may not be so excited by this title, I think it is looking like it could be fun.
 
 
 
While a lot of the scenery, and overall appearance of the game, seems to be rather brown - I think the game does look pretty cool. I especially like the weird flares that Tyris is sporting (see first pic) - especially as the flares are not attached to anything on her legs.

I dunno…
Only one playable character and no co-op. This just…doesn’t seem like Golden Axe to me.

Think of it being more of a side-game to the Golden Axe series. Not a true sequel.

I know it’ll be bad, but I am semi looking forward to it.
Everyone forgets that Golden Axe is not just a hack n slash franchise, theres been an RPG and theres been a fighter. I just think the whole “No co-op” thing destroyed literally half of the sales.

Yeah, but how many people actually remember the RPG and fighter as opposed to the arcade game and sequels? :p
