Amazon.co.uk reveals potential Unleashed box art, rating

Half Sonic, half Werehog. Will gameplay follow suit?
A quick search for “Sonic Unleashed” at Amazon.co.uk now yields what may be the game’s official box art for every console under the sun, as well as its content rating according to the Pan European Game Information organization (PEGI for those in the know).
The box art, if official, seems to imply a fifty-fifty split between the two gameplay styles we’ve seen thus far.
That said, the box art for NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams didn’t indicate tepid platforming segments and a complete departure from its predecessor’s excellent time attack-based gameplay, so don’t judge this book by its cover.

My mind isn’t much on Sonic Unleashed as it is on the other 2 games. Even so, that’s not too shabby, despite the use of Sonic running is a bit overused.

Well of course they are going to show him running, he is SONIC after all! How else would they show him? Kicking back on a lawn chair by the beach while eating a chilidog and sipping some ginger ale? Wait… that does sound like Sonic…

I thought it was pretty much confirmed that the game would be half Sonic and Half Werehog.
In interviews and at E3 they basically said for every day level there would be a night level - 50/50.
As long as they give the Werehog some decent platforming sections, I reckong this game could turn out to be quite good. But I’m still more excited by Chronicles.

Yes, it has been confirmed since E3 that the gameplay would be split in half.

the boxarts quite flashy, but im a little skeptical on the officialness of it.
itd be in SEGAs best interest to make sure this one stands out from the crowd in a sea of box-arts.

The US Amazon just shows plain yellow letters and says “not official box art”

With the word “Sonic” on the box, does it matter? It’d sell in the millions even if the box was blank.
