You might know Yuzo Koshiro for his musical works on popular Sega series’ like Shenmue, Streets of Rage, and Shinobi. Lately he hasn’t been working with Sega much, but its always good to know more about our favorite composers.
Koshiro says his most memorible moment in composing was when he did the Shenmue OST, I think that game has been memorible to all of us.When asked if he wanted a Streets of Rage revival, he responded with hopes for one. A new Streets of Rage with Koshiro on sountrack duty is a step in the right direction.

How many tracks he did for Shenmue? 2?3? I think it was not that much…
I think his team can not do another [BARE KNUCKLE]… but Sega can help them on it. The problem is “why” Sega don’t do it…!?
All the 3 games on the series are awesome funny!

In Shenmue, “The Sadness I Carry on My Shoulders” and “Rain” are quite good, but I always considered “Hip de Hop” to be one of the worst things he’s ever made, ever.
My personal favorite is the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack (as I’m sure it is for many of us), but there’s actually a lot of his work I haven’t heard.
