Sega reveals new PSP RPG - Garnet Chronicle
The latest edition of Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, gives details and screenshots of a new Sega RPG.
From the sounds of it, Garnet Chronicle will be a PSP exclusive RPG. Though if I’m brutally honest, the screenshots make it look more like a DS game.
That said, the visuals aren’t bad, the artwork looks pretty good to me. What I’m saying is that, from the images shown, it doesn’t look like it will be taking full advantage of the system’s power. Oh well, any “graphics whores” out there, may want to miss this one.
There isn’t a huge amount of (translated) detail on this just yet, but what we know is that the game’s character designer also worked on Lineage, for the PC.
The game is due for release October 23rd in Japan. No announcement has been made for release in Europe or the Americas, and in all honesty there is probably a good chance that this will be a Japan-only game. But we shall see.

It looks better then a DS RPG. Looks about as good as any 2D PSP RPG.
