@Aiza.
Hold on was Crazy Taxi 2 released on the PS2?
And for that matter - I don't recall Crazy Taxi 3 being made on the PSP?!

What's the deal with Crazy Taxi 3 being ignored here? As I recall, it was inferior, but still. I guess it plus 1 & 2 was too much to fit on one UMD?

By the way, I agree that the Dreamcast/Arcade is THE WAY to play a Crazy Taxi game. I actually only recently bought Crazy Taxi 2 for Dreamcast!

Chris - putting the music in the game was not as simple as say on the Xbox 360 or a PC game - where you just chuck an MP3 file into a folder.
As far as I remember you had to do a lot more fiddling.

Yeah you could have the original soundtrack by doing this - but then once you start playing the controls let you down.

Having your own music in PSP games is a great idea but it's almost as though Sony doesn't want you to do it - because they make it so awkward with most games.

And yeah I agree with you CrackDude - So far the only version of Crazy Taxi I really enjoyed was the DC one. Both the GameCube and PS2 versions were inferior - I recall PS2 version having loads of graphical glitches.

I reckon an XBLA version of the game is the best idea for it.

not good. I actually got both crazy taxi games for the Dreamcast recently. they are mind blowing light years better than the PSP version.
There is something about playing Crazy Taxi on a Sony console that doesn't feel right at all. I also despise te PS2 version of Crazy Taxi. The controls are just not there.

Why isn't it worth the hassle? I always thought custom soundtracks was one of the best features in the game, and I think more PSP titles should implement it.

You could easily recreate the old Crazy Taxi soundtracks and add more of your favorite music, too.

What's not to like?

Oh wow.
I wonder if they have done anything to actually change the game since Fare Wars?

Quite frankly I was horribly disappointed with the PSP game. It just lost that 'Crazy' feel I used to have on the Dreamcast.
-But that could be partly to do with the PSP controls. (I hate that nub thing).
Also the music was crappy. Bring back OffSpring and Bad Religion!
And noone mention that you can put your own tracks on the game with the Memory Stick - because it's not worth the hassle.

Err yeah anyway - hope this ones actually fun to play.
