Test out R-Tuned: Ultimate Street Racing this weekend

by George on June 27th, 2008

Starting today through Monday you will be able to get your mittens on SEGA AM-2’s latest arcade racer, R-Tuned: Ultimate Street Racing. The game is going to appear at Shinjuku Club SEGA starting at 10 AM Japanese time. If you’re around the area, drop us some pictures of the new game. This game runs on Sega’s Lindbergh arcade board and features up to four players.

There is also a rumored console port, wouldn’t surprise me if we do get it on a console. This isn’t just some street racing game, its the ‘ultimate’ street racing game. Don’t believe me? Its in the title!

no STOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!(doing my ken shiro impression) I want to see AM3 and other sega teams to do fighting games as well not just AM2. At least back in the late nineties there was a variety of fighting games style. AV with SLASH OUT, Hitmaker with LAST BRONX and TOY FIGHTER, AM2 with FIGHTING VIPERS/MEGAMIX and WoW with ZOMBIE REVENGE. its too bad Sega isn’t ulterlising the talent they have got for this genre especially the likes of DIMPS and Arc systems because if they did they’d be the best fighting games producer for 3D and 2D games.
