Site News: Our forums are back… sort of

Apologies are in order to everyone.
As many of you know, our forums had been down for the last few days. Unfortunately, it was completely out of our hands, as there was a hardware failure in the servers where the forums are stored.
For the more perceptive of you, you will have noticed that our forums are back up. Our resident forums “housekeeper,” TOGGI3, has the forums up and running again, but unfortunately, he was unable to recover the posts that had been made.
Due to an emergency involving data corruption, the forum and it’s topics have been left in an irreperable state. A chain of unfortunate events have caused most of the data to be lost. I had attempted several times to recover it over the course of the past 3 days.
I was able to recover users and passwords, and I have many posts however their data is in an unusable state. Please contact me if you need the content to an old post.
I am truly sorry to all for this state of fubar I have left these forums.

There is some good news though, all the usernames and passwords were recovered - so everybody should still have their forum accounts still available, although post counts will have dropped some.
Also this means that we can start afresh, and we are hoping to give the forum layout a lick of paint with a new design.
It’s a massive pain in the arse for everyone, and we are sorry that this happened. We had some great topics and posts from everyone, and we hope that we can continue to receive more of the same with these new forums.
The forums are located at the same address as before, or click here if you have forgotten. The current appearance is pretty basic, but we hope to update it soon with the new design.

Forums still don’t work for me…. I don’t know if my DNS isn’t resolving or what *sigh*

Rikitatsu here, I can’t Access my Account +_+ what happend ? each time i try to login it tells me that the username doesn’t Exist

That’s because certain people were “Erased” from the database, your just going to have to register again Riki!

There are still some minor bugs:
-When I reach the Forum, I’m always logged out but when I check into a topic I’m logged in.
Even if I put my password wrong at the top of the login box, I get in.
-Oh, and I can’t chanhe my avatar yet.
Good luck guys, I hope you can at least make the forum working again.
