~Intro movie, before menu screen - giving a taster of the game~

{Apologies for being a little late with this feature this week, but I have an excuse.  While so many people have uploaded Sega-related videos to the web over the years, it can be damn hard to actually find exactly what we need/want.  So to make this feature a little better, I have (finally) worked out a way to edit and splice together various clips from the web, in order to bring you guys a better experience.}

In all honesty I think the whole console wars, and game industry should have stopped by now, because the greatest game ever, Panzer Dragoon Saga, has already been made.  But I guess it doesn’t hurt for developers to keep on persevering :o).

Yeah, this is my (personal) favourite game of all time, and I know a lot of other people have enjoyed it too.  But for those of you haven’t, this week we shall be looking at the mighty Panzer Dragoon Saga.

The full game has quite a decent amount of cutscenes and FMV to go through (well not aas much as some RPGs - but enough), so really I just wanted to show the most important ones, to help give a decent taste of the game, but not completely ruin the experience for you.

The video comes in three parts (well 4 if you count the one above), this is because a) it made it easier to upload, and b) I’m sure some of you may not want to sit through nearly 30mins worth of cutscene in one go, so it’s easier to split it up a bit.

There are a few moments of gameplay footage, but I tried to narrow it down to a minimum.

Sit back, and enjoy.

{Note: After the credits roll, there is some extra footage you will want to see}

Well I hope you all enjoyed the ride, and perhaps have convinced some of you to play the full game, and find out more about it.

Man I love that game. Whenever I was low on money I was tempted to sell it, but I held out.

A truly excellent game. Sega needs to work on another epic JRPG like Saga or Skies of Arcadia.

Also, guys, you should do a feature on Deep Fear for the Sega Saturn. It’s actually a really impressive Resident Evil clone and an almost fully-accessible import game as the dialog and most menus are English. It was also released in Europe, but I can never track down a copy.

But seriously, a feature on Sega games worthy of importing would be great. :)

@Shinneri - I am quite versed on Deep Fear :)
I bought a copy off a friend (the EU copy! Huzzah!) BUT then someone pinched it :(
o I never completed it - but I did get pretty far, as far as I remember.
It was really good fun. I actually remember enjoy it more than the first 3 Resident Evil games.

-And a feature on games worth importing is pretty cool… we shall try and work something out.
Always happy for suggestions :)
