Calling all Sega Nerds! We’re hiring again

It’s that time of year again when we’re looking for the best and brightest minds in the Sega community to join forces with us in our ongoing struggle for a hostile takeover of the Sega corporation. Well, to be honest, we’re not actually at the coup d’état stage yet, so we’re willing to settle on just adding a new staff writer to the site.
So if you’re a die-hard Sega Nerd wanting to join a noble cause or are a budding writer looking for an outlet to express your opinions, please consider sending in your submission. We’re especially looking for writers based in Japan or a female staff writer … ya know to help diversify things a bit. But if you don’t fall into either of those categories, don’t worry, because we’re just looking to hire the best person available.
Keep reading for more info.
The rules are pretty simple:
- Send an e-mail with the subject titled “Sega Nerds staff position” to seganerds@gmail.com
- In the e-mail, tell us a little about yourself, what positive things you can bring to the team and include two originally written news posts about a topic you think Sega Nerds would cover.
- We’re not necessarily looking for the next Pulitzer Prize winner, we need a dedicated staff member who has a positive attitude with an exciting writing style who we can depend on.
All submissions will be looked over by several Sega Nerds editors, and the person who we feel will be the best fit, will get the job.
[Note: Sega Nerds staff members work on a volunteer basis and are not monetarily compensated. However, they are given free games to review, have the opportunity to travel to industry events and have the joy in being apart of the best Sega site ever created. Money can’t buy that, now can it?]
[Additional note: The first person who sends us a $500 check, gets the job.]

I’m not thinking about getting into this right now, but for future reference.. what would I need to write? Just reviews, retrospectives and opinions? Or would I really need to be 24/7 on the lookout for some juicy Sega-related news? lol

I already asked before, but got ignored. ):
I would suggest Aki, anyway. He writes long posts abouts stuff no one else can be bothered with.

This site needs a true sega fan, whom likes sega, and nothing else.
And that, is me.

@ Graham
You know what, i can see how most people would hate the crate thing, but to me, it actually help set that real tone for”wow I have to work” that little thing helped me sink more into the atmosphere of the game. You know what a remake of both games would be great, but the priority of the final installment should be dealt with 1st.
