Sega Game Spoilers: Burning Rangers

Ok normally around this time of the week we bring you Sega Game Endings. Well we have decided to change that a bit, and instead of just bringing you the ending of games, we will bring you the openings too. There are several reasons for this, but most importantly it will help anyone, who has not played the game, understand the ending videos more.
The idea is not really to ruin a game’s experience, but many of the games shown some people will never play - and we hope that this feature will help show people why these games are so great. Plus it gives a lot of lazy gamers the chance to see the endings to many games.
First up with the Sega Game Spoilers is one of my all time favourites, Burning Rangers on the Saturn. If you don’t know, Burning Rangers is essentially a game about a team of futuristic firefighters.
Sounds crap I know, but I can assure you, this is one fantastic title and there hasn’t been a game like this since. Great gameplay, good visuals for it’s time, (especially lighting effects), a great use of audio and some very memorable bosses, the game has it all. Plus a surprisingly good story.
The game follows the paths of two new members to the team, Tillis and Shou. Both play through the same levels, but with a few differences along the way. Unfortunately it’s been a bit of a bitch trying to find a couple of decent videos for this game, so I have had to try and sort out a few videos for you guys. And I could only find clips for Tillis, but the cutscenes are basically the same for the two.
I hope you enjoy it.

Best game ever, and I played it when I had no idea of English going always the wrong way Chris was telling me lol. I only understood “don’t worry, I’m a Burning Ranger, I’m here to help you” xD

lol.
Yeah - if you don’t understand the voices, or are deaf, then the game is a bit tricky.
But that’s what I loved about the game - if you get lost you can ask for directions :o)

If Sega ever gets back into it’s groove then i would love to see a new Burning Rangers. As long as they don’t rush it, of course.

Yeah I while I would like to see another Burning Rangers, I’m afraid that they will screw it up.
Maybe like a remake or something - I’d love to see the game with all up to date visuals. Heck even a Wii version could be cool.

You can really see hints of PSO in this game, I think.
