Ok Cube - I did realise that it’s not just shooting games - but I was generalising for everyone.

This statement is 100% incorrect.

Till 2004 Dreamcast top sellers were SNK’s King Of Fighter.

The first independet Dreamcast game released in 2003 was Feet Of Fury a critical success but a commerical failure. The game made history but hasn’t even sold 5000 pieces to date.

What about the puzzle games released by Goat Store Maqupai (2004), Inhabitants (2005), Cool Herders (2006).

Then we have less then 4 dating Sims from Japan a year.

Then we have less then 2 shooters a year from Japan.

The only reason why everyone thinks shooters are the only games released for Dreamcast is because they sell, there is a strong cult following for shooters who buy them the second they hit stores, when a shooter is released for Dreamcast it makes it on to Japan top 20.

They are like Sammy’s Pachinko’s to some they seem shit, yet they money.

So basically shooters are probably the most popular product on Dreamcast since 2004, however they are not the only genre of games available.
