I'll never get over the fact that these Olympics almost went to Toronto. Would've been nice to have Sonic and Mario around.

Who doesn't like Sonic? We may be angry with him, but that's only because we want him to do well.

And if he doesn't do well...*takes out the whip*

Anyway, I don't think it's a bad thing. Sure, I hate the game, and seeing another AD for it may melt my brain, but if it helps SEGA then I can bare the pain.

G, there is no point in doing a price drop though, you only do that when demand is low, when it's high, prices stay up, basic economics.

Also I doubt SEGA will not advertised their other titles, more then likely Valkyrie will get a TV advertisment (Remember it has to do well here in Europe) and Sonic Unleased too because us Brits love Sonic so much. Yakuza 2 I'm doubtful though, being a PS2 title and not being a big hitter first time either would probably mean only internet campaign or something of that sort.

Well I do agree with Ryan. Sega had better step up their game and advertise their other big titles properly!!

BUT that said, it is a good thing for Sega to re-advertise M+S.
The game has been doing very well so far.
And with the upcoming olympics, I think pushing the title more will be a good thing.
BUT I also think that perhaps Sega should put in a price drop - at least over the Olympic Games period. That could really bolster sales over the summer.

As long they don't forget to advertise GOOD games as well... If games like Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza 2 and other Japanese games coming this year go unadvertised I'll go ape shit.

Games like Sonic and Mario shoulds profit should go towards making games that are better.
