Sonic surpasses 8 million downloads on mobile phones

I’m going to be totally honest, I don’t play cell phone games. Why not? Because they control like crap. But apparently other Sega Nerds don’t seem to mind! Sonic has been a top seller since it launched in 2006 on Verizon’s V-Cast. The game was launched exclusively for V-Cast, but is now available to download from other carriers. The 8 million download figure combines both North American and Europe sales, so it’s not worldwide.
Sega has announced that it will build on the Sonic franchise by adding some more mobile phone Sonic games. The games are Sonic at the Olympic Games, Sonic Spinball and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Firstly, why a GBA game screenshot that is unrelated? Secondly, Sonic 2 Dash has already been released.

I downloaded Sonic the Hedgehog to my old cell phone. Cell phone gaming is terribly bad, but I had to try it out. It was an awful port, but at least I helped Sonic stay king on one platform.
