Rumor: Top Skater & Ollie King coming to a Wii near you
Did you buy Wiifit and decide that virtual excerise is not your thing? Well you might not have to worry, its rumored by EGM that Sega will bring both Top Skater and Ollie King with balance board support to the Wii. This isn’t a far fetched idea, Sega did bring one of the first light gun games to the Wii, with support for the zapper. You remember Ghost Squad right?
I’m sure this will make all the Sega fans rather happy. I can’t wait for Ollie King, can’t say I have heard of Top Skater or played it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some yoga to do.

Ah Top Skater. I remember that. The characters always made me think of the cast from the Crazy Taxi games - i.e there’s something for everyone, lol.
I played it in the arcade once. Failed miserably. XD;;

The problem is Sega is being sued by the creator of the ollie over OLLIE KING so i can’t see this is being true at the moment. The last case sega was involved in over trademark and likeness issues it affected any new SC5 games to be released for years.

Theres a Top Skater game still in the arcade I used to go into as a teenager. Too bad they still haven’t lowered the price from $1 that I used to pay to play it back in 1998.
I remember that Pennywise did all the music in that game much like the Offspring in Crazy Taxi. You’ll get the same 2-3 songs over and over and over again.

Never come across a Ollie King cabinet, but I hear it’s like a arcade skateboard version of jet Set Radio, complete with some of the same music. Top Skater was ace, although I was never too good at it.
