Sega Game Endings: NiGHTS into Dreams

Well now we have a treat for you this week on ‘Sega Game Endings’. Not one, not three, but two whole game ending videos. However they are for the same game, NiGHTS on the Sega Saturn.
As you all should know NiGHTS into Dreams allowed players to take control of two different characters, Claris and Elliot, who both have different levels, bosses and more importantly (for this feature at least), two different endings.
So for anyone who has not been able to get their hands on this Saturn classic, here are the final FMV sequences. You should notice that though the endings differ, they do both come together and cross paths at a couple of moments.

Nice to see the original NiGHTS game getting some love. There’s still people out there who can’t complete the first game due to Stick Canyon being a complete ass to finish and Jackle being one hell of a boss fight half the time, lol.
But, yeh. Thanks Seganerds. Good one for putting this up. :)

Ah we’ve always got the love for NiGHTS into Dreams… not so much for Journey of Dreams, though we don’t shun it completely ;)
Man I love the ending music. Kind of brings tears to my eyes now.

You know what I always hated? The unskippable lengthy credits that show up after so many plays of Christmas NiGHTS. You just want to get to the present opening game at the end but you have to sit though the world’s longest credit sequence (or at least they feel like it as they are longer than the one level and one boss the demo has!). The song from it is burned into my Brain: “bum bum baaaawwww bum bum baaawwwww”.

Yeah, i do agree. Nothing can replace NiD. JoD was ..meh.. “ok”… but nothing compared to what got me into the fanbase in the first place.

Lol, i agree. And do you know what sucked even more? You finally get to the christmas present screen and the first present you open is Reala’s ugly face XD Right back to the start and do it all over again.
That being said, i always did like the xmas version of Dreams Dreams though. Very festive and sung quite nicely.
