Sega publishing Shiren 3 in Japan

In case your ass is feeling a little better after the reaming Mystery Dungeon: Shiren The Wanderer gave you, I bring you some good or bad news (depending on how much you like your ass reamed) - Sega is publishing Chunsoft’s Shiren 3 for the Nintendo Wii in Japan, and it just released a couple new videos on its site.

While these videos don’t show anything in terms of gameplay, it does look to promise some pretty epic moments, which is kinda inspiring … that is until you remember how insane the first game in the series is. If you haven’t had the honor, just read my Shiren the Wanderer review.

There’s no word yet if Sega plans to bring this game to the West yet, and I certainly won’t lose sleep if it doesn’t. However, roguelikes have a pretty loyal following, but they’ll never reach the popularity of other genres due to their ridiculous difficulty.
