Sonic fan tells it like it is!
I have no idea what this cute little chav is actually saying, thanks to a combination of his accent, his braces and his lisp. I’m sure it’s extremely important though, so make sure to watch it all the way through and take notes. There will be a quiz.

LMAO! That was hilarious.
I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying either (and I’m from the UK).
But he certainly seemed annoyed about something.

It isnt his accent he clearly has a slip… I understood the jist of it.
He was doing the usual, voice acting is bad, story is bad routine. He talks about what consoles he has, getting the gameplay right but doesnt say how it would be right.
“If we don’t sort out the writing and the gameplay we will lose sonic forever”
is how he summed it up.
Also, I hate Americans using the word Chav when they clearly have no idea what it means. This kid didn’t really show any examples of being a Chav. It would be like me saying you were a hick just because your stupid.

Graham told me he’s a chav so you shut your ignorant mouth!

Ryan the kid is wearing a funking Lonsdale tshirt.
They practically sponsor chavs here in the south east!
Different degrees of how bad a chav can be. He would be in the lowest tiers - but still considered a chav where I’m from, and given a good old beating for it too, before he gets any worse!

What’s a “chav” anyway? I know it’s a UK term, and I hear it used a lot on the internet, but I don’t actually know what it refers to.

Generally, its coming from a council estate background (Meaning poor) often wearing bling bling as well as other item of clothing such as trainers, baseball caps, hoodies (Clothes with hoods) trackies etc, often acting intimidating towards someone and at times, being related to gangs and violence.
Or something like that, just think of a kid from poor background, wears bling bling, pretends to be tough, swears a lot and you’ve probably got the jest of a stereotypical chav. I suppose the closet example in American slang is Wiger/Wigger, except the person is not acting “black” that just the general way they act.

Over here in the States, we just say ‘bling’. We stopped saying it twice about a year after it became big. Thanks for the definition for ‘chav’, I had no idea what anyone was saying in the commments here.

Yeah basically chavs are the scum of British society.
But then again, who else have we got to work at MacDonalds?
Oh and the girl chavs will always wear those massive, gold, hooped ear rings. It’s always gold or fake gold and looks ridiculous.
And you also get a lot of the guys wearing football (soccer) shirts around the place.

We have those in Portugal too…
The portuguese term is “basofe” and they pretty much dress themselves as hip-hop artists.
And wiggers too.

A lot of normal people also wear football shirts, I wear mine when I go to play or watch football. So it really shouldn’t be used to describe a Chav.

Aki-at is a chav. I KNEW IT.

Aki - it is of course acceptable to wear a football short when playing the sport or actually going to watch a match.
But you find a lot of chavs just wear them out - even to pubs/clubs. And not after matches. They just wear them.
I don’t have a massive problem with wearing a shirt for a team you support. But it has become one way to help describe a lot of chavs.
It’s kind of like the hoodie. Back in the mid 90’s hoodies were only really worn by skaters.
Skaters still wear hoodies, but the hoodie has become a way of describing chavs. Though chavs tend to wear the hoods up all the time, skaters have it down.

I support Arsenal, not Chelsea (Who’s fanbase, hell even players, are full of chavs) in fact, it’s really Chelsea who have a high number of “Chav” fans for whatever reason, which is pretty ironic considering the part of London they’re from is high class.
As for Arsenal, our fanbase is predominantly made up of middle-class and high-class followers (Hey, our ticket prices can range from £35/$70 to £2,000/$4,000!) almost all chavs are from poor backgrounds.
“But it has become one way to help describe a lot of chavs”
No it hasn’t G you dolt, you’ve basically said two thirds of our country is full of chavs then XD
Your probably mixing up Chelsea fans as generally football fan, I mean, have you ever seen a Fulham or Newcastle chav fan? I doubt it.

So what, let them be chavs does it matter! Who ever made that word up needs to get there ass kicked seriously, there people not “Chavs” regardless of how they act.

Calling someone a “Chav” is just another way of looking down on someone to tell ya truth.
