Phantasy Star Portable gets a trailer

On the heels of revealing Phantasy Star Portable’s box art, Sega has released a new trailer for the new PSP RPG. The trailer is very much inspired by Phantasy Star Universe’s art style but shows absolutely zero gameplay footage, which is kind of unfortunate.

As far as we know, the game is still slated for release on July 31. Can any of our Japanese speakers tell us what the narrator says at the beginning?

Do you really need a translation of the same lines we have been hearing the past 2 or 3 years?

It’s actually the ever-so-slightly extended intro from the PC/PS2 versions of Ambition of the Illuminus’ story mode, if I’m not mistaken. There is an extra line or two about the SEED invasion itself.

Any place where we can download a more HQ version (read: not streaming, not YouTube) of this?
