Sega Nerds won’t be at Sega Gamer’s Day [Update]
Hey guys, I felt it was our obligation to tell you that despite our best efforts, we won’t be able to attend Sega Gamer’s Day tomorrow. Apparently, our point of contact at Sega of America PR decided it would be best to completely ignore our persistent emails and not pick up their phone.
Because of this, we’ll have to sit out this event and wait for the news to come to us, which is something we absolutely hate doing. We want to be on the front lines, fighting through the PR jargon to bring our readers the content they care about.
Hopefully, we can better communicate with SoA’s PR department in the future, and to be completely honest, we’ve never had a problem like this up until now. I’m sorry and disappointed we couldn’t be there.
[Update: Everything is in the process of being smoothed out now, as the Sega Online Community Team, made up of both SoA and SoE employees, has been in contact with us, and it looks like George will receive an invitation to today’s Sega Gamer’s Day.]

That’s good news you’ll be there after all. I can’t see why they wouldn’t invite SN, since we have the most open mind of any reviewer with regard to SEGA products. I guess we also have the greatest capacity for disappointment.

Maybe they had a look around the forums and saw all the racist crap posted by a lot of the members. If I was Sega, I wouldn’t want any of you animals at Gamer’s Day either.
