Phantasy Star Portable gets a release date

If you happened to be a huge fan of Phantasy Star Universe, you might be interested in Phantasy Star Portable. Well, Sega is set to release the game on July 31st in Japan. No mention if we will be getting this game in the West.
Now for some new info:
- A special mission to promote the game will be released for the PC/PS2 versions of Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus.
- There might be a possibly to link the PSP with the PC/PS2 version of the game. This might allow you to transfer your online character data to the PSP version of the game. I personally don’t think they will do this.
- The choices you make in the game effect your ending. So it means there will be multiple endings, how many endings in total is not specified.
- There will be over 1500 items in the game. Sadly they will be reusing items already found in Phantasy Star Universe.
- The way items drops is suppose to change, how this works has not been talked about.
- There will be a illustrated section that has references to items and enemies.
- The game will record your personal history.
- There will be downloadable missions for the game.
