I think this new piece of artwork can explain the title for Sega’s upcoming Sonic game. Seems that Sonic will have a dark side that looks wolf like. Yes, I can already feel the frowning faces in millions of Sonic fans.Though on the positive side, the recently revealed screenshots didn’t have annoying side kicks. Thats a good thing, right guys?

Discuss this game with fellow Sonic fans on the forum.

Thats retarded to a whole new level. Whoever approved of this should have their genitals slowly twisted off.

The art reminds me of Chronicles. Wonder if they’re tied together.

I really don’t see what’s wrong with it, to be honest.

Ready?

How dare a videogame series about a blue hedgehog fighting the diabolical schemes of a villainous genius who turns the creatures of the forest into robotic attack machines take a turn for the weird.

I mean, who do they think they are? I’ll blindly accept a flying anteater with spikey boxing gloves, but not a rabid monster personality that the hero must fight past.

Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. *Total sarcasm*

P.s. Stop whining. The game hasn’t even been seen in motion yet. And frankly, who gives a damn about a new direction in the story? It’s not like we even know what this means yet, and besides, the game looks incredible from a visual standpoint.

Remember when you were young and the ridiculous things I mentioned in the beginning of this comment didn’t get you all pissed off?

I swear if Sonic and Knuckles was released now-a-days you Sonic “fans” would all bitch about how he’s somehow blaspheming against the canon of the series. Honestly, without new twists and gimmicks all you’ll be getting is Sonic 64. Get it? You all complain whenever Sonic Team tries something new, but then BASH nintendo for never doing anything new.

Make up your damn minds.

Nononono You have it all wrong.

Real Sega fans hate sonic, regardless of what it is he is doing.

I hate this because it’s retarded. I think thats fair.

Any more retarded than a Hedgehog absorbing 7 huge mineral deposits and becoming engulfed in a radiant golden energy?

Hmmm….

James, please. People are not being unreasonable here when they find this werehog business disturbing. All we want is a competent experience and I’m sure a lot less of us would throw hissy fits had Sonic had some sort of reputation for quality as of late. Yes it’s very early to tell but its hard to tell people who have only felt disappointment after disappointment to have an open mind about something like this.

Cool, game’s gonna suck.

I’ll just go out with it and say Sonic the Werehog is going to be the best thing to happen to the series since… ever. Look, I don’t care how bizarre the concept is or how many times Sonic Team has screwed up. I’m all giddy right now and I have a huge grin on my face.

After the Arabian Nights, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics and robot pirates from another dimension, this is actually pretty cool. No if’s, and’s or but’s.

Looks like sonic and crash bandicoot mixed together. e_e

never the less it may be good.

The picture itself looks a bit fan made to me but if you all think its real I guess I will wait with my fingers crossed. ^^

@Rachel: I thought that too…and I’m a Crash Bandicoot fan.

Shit, no! SEGA, stop merging my worlds together! At least “Invasion of the Bandicoot Snatchers” sounds as far-removed from Sonic as possible.
