Viking: Battle for Asgard gets an intro video

Okay, I don’t really know what to think of this newly released introduction video for Viking: Battle for Asgard. I dig the narration and use of art stills, but the music doesn’t seem to flow with what’s going on in the video at times.
The transition from the art stills to actual gameplay is pretty cool, but what’s the deal with Skarin bleeding buckets of blood in the stills, then having what looks like nothing more than a few scratches in the full gameplay piece. Yeah, I know I’m perhaps overly criticizing the video a bit, but that’s what we do, damn it!
Anyway, the game releases later this month, and by all accounts, looks to be a pretty fun hack ‘n slasher.
