Sega just unveiled Super Monkey Ball for the iPhone yesterday, and up to that point, all we had to go on was a couple of photos from Gizmodo. However, now there’s a video of the full demonstration, and it’s hard not to be blown away by such a perfect port of the game.

Using the iPhone’s built-in accelerometers, all you need to do to control AiAi is to tilt the phone where you want to go, explains Sega’s Ethan Einhorn.

I suppose it will play like the Wii version then?

This guy’s acting like this is the first time we’ve controlled Monkey Ball with accelerometers…

This does look great though, I’ll try to pester my brother to get it if it comes out.

Holy crap…
I guess the iPhone is good for something after all,
But cost of a PS3 for the power of a souped up N64 doesn’t seem like that great of deal to me.

I’ll stick to a GP2x and a DS thanks.
