What price would you put on owning every single Sega Dreamcast game, that was officially released to the Japanese market? And not just all the 606 titles (and different versions), but every game completely brand new - factory sealed! That’s the kind of price I don’t think I could estimate.
But one such person, on eBay, has held his (or her) breath, and taken that guess…. The grand figure?
$19,999.99 (about £10,000.00)!!
Yep nearly $20, 000 - and that is not the figure after a huge-ass scary bid off war, that is the guy’s initial asking price. Noone, it seems, even bet on the goods.
To be honest as much as I love my Dreamcast, and the wonderful games it has, I really don’t think I could even part with £10,000 of my own money for all the games. Well if I were a millionaire, I probably wouldn’t care. But I don’t think any sane Sega Nerd would really be able to justify such a steep purchase, even if they are still shrink wrapped…

I would buy the collection without thinking twice if I had the money. It is my favorite system after all.
If you think about it, it’s probably not a bad deal at all (~$33 a game). All those special/limited editions… Segagaga, Space Channel 5 Part2… Even Virtua Fighter 3tb with that Project Berkley disc.

I wonder, though, if What’s Shenmue is in there (both blue and orange versions).
