Aliens: Colonial Marines

The cover of Game Informer’s March issue promises a “world exclusive” first look at Sega and Gearbox’s first-person shooter based on the popular Aliens license. The game is apparently titled Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The info blurb for the magazine issue also states that the game will be coming to PC and unspecified consoles in 2009, and will feature squad-based gameplay. Let’s hope it’s better than the franchise’s other recent outings.

I READ ON KOTAKU that SEGA was going to be the winning game developer this year and had the most games coming out then any other developer/publisher….

I think this year is going to be a good money making year for sega… Samba might be a huge suprise hit on the wii and Iron man has potential for good sales as do other secret “suprise” hits …

(here’s hoping)

Finally! Well, this reveal was unexpected, though… it is Game Informer though.

isn’t there already a game called COLONIAL MARINES though on the PS2/xbox? Its the obvious title given the content and most likely to be the game that uses the colonial marines properly i’m just preplexed that they went with the same title.
