Sega gets own feature page on GAME website

For those of you who don’t know (which would be most people outside the UK), GAME is the UK’s leading video games store.
Just like any typical gaming store, they cater for all areas of gaming, including Sega Nerds now, it seems.
On the home page to the GAME website, (at the time of writing this), there is a clear icon down the right hand column, which leads to a Sega specific area - shown in screendump below.
“Why is this news?” You may ask. Well, I personally use GAME as my main source of purchases for my addiction hobby, and I am often browsing the website for deals and release dates here in the UK, and this is the first time I have ever seen the website have a specific feature page for a single 3rd party developer, to show off their games.
Sure they may have a link to some great upcoming Xbox 360 or Wii games - you know an actual console. But I’m pretty sure this is the first time GAME has advertised upcoming games for a sole developer.
What does all this mean though? Well it could be that Sega actually paid GAME to setup this advertisment. Or could it possibly be that GAME is finally recognising that Sega is making A-grade games once again?
I’m not sure myself, but it is a pretty cool sight to see, for any Sega Nerd. Let’s hope it garners interest from non-Sega Nerds, and Sega’s games start selling more.

I was most happy to see that last week as well and there are some nice webpages for games like Sonic that have been put up in the past too. :)

Also it is to mention that anyone can get the club for only £20 if you buy it with anything else at the moment. This can even be 99 pence items like wrap paper so a great deal for a game not even out for a week!

Doesn’t it mean that SEGA is still a big company?
