Sega Bass Fishing goes gold

by Chris on February 5th, 2008

After months of anxious anticipation by all Sega Nerds, Sega has just sent us word that Sega Bass Fishing has gone gold and is being manufactured as we speak. The game is scheduled to ship to retailers on Feb. 26.

Sega Bass Fishing will be available at the bargain price of only $30 and will include lots of new content that wasn’t available in the Dreamcast version.

In all, the game will feature four modes - arcade, tournament practice and nature trip; 15 stages, seven of which are brand new with four from the arcade and Dreamcast versions; and finally, you’ll be hunting down four different types of bass - Florida Large Mouth, Red Eye, Small Mouth and Northern Spike Large Mouth.

If they nail the motion controls, I think I’ll pick this up.

That’s the one thing I’m hoping for. Especially to the fact that I want the controls to be similar to Zelda: Twilight Princess’ fishing controls.
