Yes, a this is our third Sega Superstar Tennis update in a row. This time I promise good news.

Three new characters have been revealed by eurogamer. They revealed four characters but I already posted about Alex Kidd.

Thats not all though, They also revealed three new Sega themed mini-games.

Also to add to the list is a new court confirmed. This one will be a Outrun 2 court. The court will feature Flag man as a umpire.

Still too many Sonic Team/Dreamcast era characters for my liking, really, but I might still get it, was hoping for more SEGA Mega Drive/SEGA Saturn characters though.

At least the game will be excellent!

WHERE’S BUG

No.

But Clockwork Knight would be sweet.

Where was this hotness like 8 years ago? Nobody’s going to buy this but people like us who remember/care about SEGA’s glory days :(

Well it makes sense to have Sonic as the major star as he’s the mascot and serves as a gateway into the world of Sega for new gamers. if they like him they might try out other games made by the same company and so on. Also this is Sumo digital’s first major title that isn’t a port so they want to make this as good as anybody as well as please the hardcore sega fans. it does depend if sega wants them to add several characters from their past that are fan favourites and in a buisness sense it makes sense to have most of the best selling sega games from sonic team dominant the game but it’d be a lost oppoutunity if they don’t use that to introduce the more obscure characters in the sega universe. Makes me wonder if VECTOR MAN will be in it?

I think the Wii version would be more fun, but the 360 version might have a chance at downloadable content, plus online play. Which one to get…

Holy cow… Sega are hitting all the right bells here, and it scares me. Next we’ll have Akira, Ryo or somebody from Phantasy Star.

I sure wish sega would do something origonal or maybe even make a smash bros rip off.
Though then again, Virtua Tennis is one of their better games, so why not I guess.
I do hope they all have their own swinging style.
Hmm, I would kinda like a Sega Allstarts fighter.
Another Fighter’s Megemix please?

Ristar
Vectorman
Akira
Dural
A couple fighting vipers.
Maybe even Tempo

Would all make good cameos at the least :3
Bug, well, Id rather best forget him, but I say he shouldl atleast be in the background somewhere.

Now how bout an After Burner stage?
Would be down right awsome playing on the Aircraft Carrier xD

Oh ad dont forge Twojam and Earl!

Oh oh! And why not Ecco? x3

I really hope the Wii version turns out well. Online modes and good controls a must.

Im looking forward to this almost as much as smash bros.
Only almost as Im not too much a fan of tennis :/
Though Virtua Tennis has always screamed good.
I kinda miss the vmu view in the dreamcast one.
