New Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS screens released

While most Sega Nerds are busy talking about Sega’s recently released Mario & Sonic or the upcoming NiGHTS: Journey into Dreams, most don’t seem to be giving the DS’Â Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer much thought.
To help change that, Sega released a fresh batch of screens, for the DS version. We managed to get a sneak-peek of the Wii version, at TGS, but not a lot has been heard of the handheld counterpart.
Developed by Chunsoft, this popular Japanese RPG will be hitting the States for the first time ever. According to Sega, the series has sold 1.5 million copies in Japan, so it appears to be pretty successful. The game will feature randomly generated dungeons as well as a “Rescue” feature that uses the DS’ WiFi capabilities in some way.
Sega said it’s trying to get back to the 16-bit style with Shiren the Wanderer, and it’s pretty apparent. I’ve been wanting a good DS title for awhile, and it appears this could be it. Shiren the Wanderer hits stores in February.
See the rest after the jump.

I actually think this looks pretty awesome… I loved RPGs on the MegaDrive Genesis…This looks to me alot like legend of Oasis.
