Golden Axe III hits the Virtual Console

Fact: barbarian women were all totally hot. Also, dinosaurs!

As you might have guessed, Golden Axe III hit the ol’ Vee Cee today for eight bucks. While GAIII never saw release stateside except on the Sega Channel during the Genesis days, it did sneak its way into the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2 and PSP not too long ago.

Stay tuned for a look back at this entry into a series that just might be making a comeback.

This game gets too hard to be fun after the first few levels, plus the graphics/music utterly sucks…

Look more like a Lizard with a Shell to me.. Which puts it much closer to a Dinosaur in my book.

This was a great game in my good old days,
although Street Of Rage was better than it…
