Sonic Rush Adventure leaderboards filling up

Sonic Rush Adventure hasn’t even officially been released on the Nintendo DS, but it appears people have already gotten their grubby mitts on the game. Not only have they been playing the game before the rest of us, they’ve also been uploading their scores to the Sonic Rush Adventure leaderboards.
A quick scan of the names reveal some people are probably Sega of Europe employees with names like SOE Plop and SOE-FRE. However, people from every major region are showing up on the leaderboards.
Looking at who’s the biggest badass who’s beaten the game and has the highest score shouldn’t surprise anyone - it’s Sonic, who beat Zone 7-2 in 36 seconds.
You can check them out here.
[Thanks for the tip, Diogo]

Yeah I was browsing a new-ish games store near me.
And they had several copies of Sonic Rush Adventure on sale. And some Slim-line PSPs (!!) Very dodgy.

Well, we know stores have broken the agreements with SEGA before when it comes to selling their games on the date they are actually meant to.

Yeah but it does’t make it right.
Also the store in question was mega -dodgy. I could have picked up like 10 items that were on the shelves before the release date.
Most stores would like take one or two items around and put them up - to be a bit more subtle….

Highscore boards always sound like a nice idea, but they always seem to get ruined fast.
I remember buying Nanostray right on its release date. Then as soon as I hit the online score boards I found them already maxed out by crap names and what not.
Guess it was due to that code creator prog someone made.
Score Boards are pointless on a game that doesnt have online play.
With online play it atleast makes a little sense and if ingame intergrated doesnt get ruined too fast.
Now if they didnt get ruined and had trust worthy scores listed, then its kinda fun. Like them old arcades.
Not really hyped about the game either. Dimps did the first games level design and well, since then Ive learned to hate them. I dont see Dimps horrible level design improving any in this next one. Though theres always that new rush move to help mask it. -_-

Graham, I don’t know what you’re bitching about. Stores that break release dates are great for us, the consumer.
