Rez coming to XBLA

James Mielke of 1Up.com has spent the last two years putting together a fantastic Panzer Dragoon retrospective, complete with interviews, video and stories to delight the most hardcore of Panzer fans. Check it out, naturally.
However, this isn’t the most exciting news. Mielke, during some of the extensive time he spent with original Panzer Dragoon developer Yukio Futatsugi, learned that Sega fan favorite and cult hit Rez will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade.
No further details or dates or anything; just a one-sentence tease of the psychedelic goodness to come. But we all know what the XBLA treatment entails: High-definition, widescreen, surround sound on-rails shooting nirvana. Gentlemen and gentlewomen, ready thy Xboxes.

Also, go read the Panzer Dragoon Retrospective. It’s what my article would be like if I had connections, an extensive knowledge of industry workings, and about twenty years’ experience in games journalism. Except better.
