Big fat Sonic update!

Well, there’s quite a bit of Sonic news going around at the moment. I have news on not one, not two, but three Sonic games that weirdly are all sequels with R in the name… You’ll see.
First up is a new trailer for Sonic Rush Adventure on the DS. This, in my opinion, is the best news of the lot. The game looks like it will live up to the original, which was fantastic:

The second bit of news is a new trailer for Sonic Rivals 2 for the PSP. I’m shocked to say I think this game actually looks quite fun and if I had a PSP I’d probably want to invest in this one if it turns out as good as it looks here:

I’m also a bit shocked by Sonic Rivals 2. The backgrounds looks like it got its inspirations from Metroid Prime in terms of shapes and layout.

Except for Riders. I’m one of the few that loved the original but even I’m saying ‘WTF!?’ here.

Hmm Riders was the only one that appealed to me there. I played the original for a bit - and thought it was ok-ish, this one looks like it could be the same.
Rush looked too much like the GBA games imo - (the art direction for the levels) -The game looks fun, but I still don’t think it looks as amazing as everyone is saying.
And I don’t like the look of Rivals at all.

I’m gonna buy all of them! Riders 2 looks the best out of them, though.

Man Riders was a great game the only people who complain’s about the game is the one’s that suck’s at it and can’t get the game down!, which is so easy i mean come on dude what the hell just go to tutorial it can’t get any easer than that!, and as for SRA, yes!, it is all that like everyone say’s it is.

For the record, RUSH IS FANTASTIC AND ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE NEEDS A SLAP IN THE FACE.
Anyway. I loved Riders. I completely 100%’d the whole game I loved it so much. But I’m looking at these screenshots for two and I’m wondering how they actually managed to make it look worse than the original.

Hmm. The Riders 2 trailer ain’t too bad. The atmosphere reminds me of Metroid Prime 2. And the music’s mellow enough.

Riders 2 looks great to me. I also 100%’d the first one and ended up diggin’ it. You have to admit its not an easy to play game though. Even after the tutorial theres so much to learn.
