Sega’s Leipzig games conference line-up

Well, most of the line-up we have seen at this year’s E3, besides the new Creative Assembly game. It seems that it will be labeled a ‘world exclusive’ . It seems that the rumor we had last time is coming true. Could this be Rome: Total War 2?
SEGA will also have Virtua Fighter 5 playable, much like this year’s E3. But this time you will be able to try out the online mode. Also a worthy note, Golden Axe doesn’t appear anywhere in the line-up.
The rest of the line up is as follows:

CA directly stated it isn’t Rome 2. Then Sega said Golden Axe was having it’s own event later. Why even bother to say those things?
None of this seems like the old stuff we saw at E3. Most of these games only have some information and a few screenshots/trailers.

Moron marketers from Sega of America shouldn’t be trusted equally as one of the developers of the game in the UK. It’s not Rome 2, unless they’re lying for absolutely no reason.

Alimn is a well respected SEGA fan and is not trolling. The list isn’t true but I can tell you right now he didn’t make it up himself. If anything someones lying to him.

Yes he is from another country, a high % of SEGA fans are. I’d like to see you try and write in his language half as good as he does in ours before you mouth off about his spelling and what not.

Well he’s an idiot. Speaking another language isn’t an excuse for that, only things I can think of that would be are him being like 14 years old or mentally retarded. If he is either of them, then fine. He can state it himself.
I wasn’t even speaking to you at first, you’re the one butting into it and insulting me first. Thus causing the issue. You’re purposely trying to get me to argue with you with constant insults, so grow up yourself.
You don’t really have to answer this. But what the hell does me speaking whatever he speaks have to do with this? The list is bullshite no matter which way it’s spoken. The same applies to the overuse of “!!!”s.

Kogen by all respects the new Sega management at SOA are very hands on that they were in the previous adminstrations of SOA,they’re more open to fan interaction than ever before and Steinberg isn’t stupid he’s quite sharp. He never said that ROME 2 was to be shown he said it was being worked on. The Creative Assembly said that the new game that they are revealing isn’t ROME 2 or a TOTAL WAR game. They never said they WEREN’T making a sequel to ROME 2. So it doesn’t prove that CA aren’t making one and it proves that Steinberg may be in fact correct but slipped in revealing a title that they weren’t ready for especially when the original comment was removed from the interview he did. Until CA say they are not making a sequel to ROME than i’ll believe a top sega excecutive rather than a fanboy who desperatly wants to believe that it will never happen.

Firstly I don’t think this needs much explaining, but SEGA of America’s staff are retards. Describing it would take up too time. Just go look at a few things like Sonic Genesis, Simon’s recent comments about SEGA hardware and Sonic, and how Steinberg randomly ‘forgot’ what he said about the Wii. He’s about as sharp as a baby’s freshly powdered ass.
By even saying Rome, the guy probably should have said “Total War”, as that’s what he was directly referring to. And CA didn’t say it wasn’t a Total War game, you’re a liar. Of course they’re eventually making a damn sequel to Rome since it was the most popular Total War game so far. That’s just fucking obvious, and it’s just not what they’re making right now. A developer of the game said it wasn’t Rome on the Total War official forums and he said it’d be big news for Total War fans; it’s certainly a Total War game and not Total Warrior. I’m not a fucking fan boy, you’re a stupid prick. I never said it(Rome2) wasn’t ever being made, I said a developer of the game said it wasn’t currently. He’s making it, he knows.

On TW, You were acting like it was never gonna happen i just pointed out that what he said not what you assumed. The fact of your little obsenty tantrum when i corrected you proves that you were proven wrong and deep down you knew it. So you don’t want to be called a fan boy then stop acting like one. And yeah you are right he isn’t making it but he didn’t say the company itself isn’t either,did he? A different team could be assigned to the game.
And your perception of Sega marketing is hirlarious. The head of marketing Scott Steinberg’s job is to KNOW what games are designated to be released and set out the marketing stragety around the titles and its release dates. The Wii article was nothing more than a PR stunt which many in the industry and other gamers actually agree with whether or not his predicitions turn out to be correct or not a lot of people feel that way. It also demonstrated that Sega isn’t licking nintendo’s ass which of course seems to be the fashion among so called Sega fans at the official site . Just because he retracted it in the way he did doesn’t mean he actually forgot anything it was what they call damage control because people like you over react. And if you are so intelligent Kogen why are you not the head of your own games studio or company like jeffery is? He can’t be all that stupid can he?
