Sega chooses some guy for VP position at Secret Level

Right about now you might be wondering “what the hell is Secret Level?” Well, it’s a smallish Sega-owned developer that’s responsible for the new Iron Man and Golden Axe titles now in development.

And who, then, is responsible for Secret Level? Why, newly named vice president Darrin Stubbington of course! 1up.com reports that newcomer Stubbington will be part of an effort to make Secret Level a more Western-oriented developer. Join us here at Sega Nerds as we appraise this man’s abilities strictly on his mug shot.

Hair

Nice. Not balding yet, a little rumpled. Maybe a little windswept? Styled, but not greasy, per se. Neatly trimmed side burns, a class act.

Attire

Questionable white-on-white with the tie there, Darrin. Otherwise a fairly reasonable ensemble, though for all we know he’s starkers from the waist down.

Smile

A little cocky, a little sly. No teeth (a wise decision- keeps him from seeming smug). Eyes appropriately narrowed, forestalling that “Oh hey I’m being photographed” look often seen in corporate workers all too often.

Pose

Good, but could be better. Optimally he’d be facing to the left a bit, eyes at the camera. In this case it would be better to show a little tooth, but he’s making the best of a bad situation here.

Overall

A fairly well done mug shot, though the white tie definitely brings things down a notch. Suggested tie color for next mug shot: deep red, maybe a burgundy. Something along those lines. Stripes are okay, but let’s not go crazy here. Keep ‘em in the brownish area of the spectrum, maybe toward the lighter end.
