Sega of Australia talks

The new Sega division in Australia just opened the other day. What better way of being welcomed, than having Kotaku chat with the new boss, Darren. It seems that reason Sega is back in the land down under, is all in their big plan to sell more software in the west. Not to mention its easier to push the Sega brand over there, when it has its own division . Now that Sega is pushing their own games in Australia, it means there’s no need for THQ to do so.
Sega of Australia will be a subsidiary to Sega of Europe. Regardless, Darren Macbeth has said they are planning on making a big impact in Australia. This is one step in Sega’s big plan, of being one of the top five publishers, in the next few years. We can’t wait.
