Shining Wind’s slide continues

After topping the charts in its first week of release, Shining Wind has now dropped to the 29th spot in last week’s Japanese software sales chart, according to Media Create. Last week, it fell from the much sought after top 10 to the 12th spot.
Selling an impressive 78,000 copies its first week, Shining Wind sold a disappointing less than 18,000 its second week and I’d be willing to bet it didn’t sell more than 10,000 copies last week.
The successor to Shining Tears, Shining Wind was released in Japan May 19 and doesn’t currently have a U.S. release date. No other Sega titles made it into the top 50.

VG Chartz. Either way its doing better than EXA. I don’t see why you’re so disappointed. This is good for a Shining game over there.

Just so you know next time, using NeoGAF as a source = epic fail. That is the most dysfunctional gaming forum on the internet, with mods drunk on power just because a few 1up.com editors post there. Please cite another source next time.
