Sega Nerdcast 4: Return of the Fanboys
Wow, is it really time for the Sega Nerdcast again? Why, I guess it is! Graham and I have a really great show for all you Sega Nerds this week. We’ve cut off Nathan’s bear hands, so he won’t be joining us this week. But look on the bright side, at least you won’t have to bother with him typing in your ear anymore!
In this week’s episode, Graham and I reveal some new and juicy Wii NiGHTS rumors that you probably haven’t heard anywhere else yet, we talk about our Alien Syndrome PSP vs. Wii controversy, we unveil our Sega PC contest winner, and much, much more.
If things get a bit weird this week, I apologize; I may have had a bit too much to drink during the course of the Nerdcast, and I steadily got drunker.
I also want to ask pretty please to leave us some feedback. It’s how we, ya know, get better and stuff.

Hey in regards to sega nerd cast 3, I liked the head hunter part
Because I always intrested in the video game before i forget about it when DC died.

Hey guys.
I love the show. But I do have some ‘issues’ with it.
I find that Chris interrupts Graham a little too much. I think its cool to have a joke about stuff and I like how lighthearted it all is. But some of the interruptions are unnecessary, and I think that it does often throw Graham off track with what he is/was saying.
Whereas Graham does the opposite- and rarely jumps in on Chris while he speaks. Maybe he is too shy to do so. But I do kind of prefer it- at least this way we can hear what Chris is saying. And I think maybe Chris should try to tone down some of his jump ins.
I think that way it will make for a more coherent conversation on some of the subjects.
But as I say. I really do enjoy the show overall. Its pretty informative and the hosts do work well together. I also like how you have other writers on as extra co-hosts and that you all reside in different parts of the world. That gives this podc… sorry I mean ‘Nerdcast’ quite a unique feature that no other podcast has- where we can hear what is actually going down in the different gaming regions.
I am actually quite a new listener- I started with Nerdcast 3 and then had to go back to 1 then 2 and now 4. And the improvement in quality is really good. The first nerdcast Graham was almost impossible to hear at times and he did seem very shy at speaking - leaving most of the work up to Chris.
But now the audio has vastly improved and Graham seems to be alot more talkative and more involved in the show.
I partcularly liked some of the points you guys have raised in the few shows you have had. Graham made two very good points in no.4 about Full Auto2 on the PSP and how many PSP titles are just ports of console games, which can be good but doesn’t always work.
And I totally agreed with him on his points about the PS3. And that as the PS2 has such a strong userbase- is there any need to make any games for the PS3. Especially seeing as the PS2 is still getting the brunt of AAA titles,while the PS3 is being fobbed off with poor ports and some lack lustre exclusive titles.
As I say I love the show, just those few minor niggles right now. Chris is a good host and does bring many giggles to the show- like with his comment on Nathan typing with “frigging Bear Hands”. He just perhaps needs to calm down a touch and let Graham speak more (but not too much)
Keep up the good work. With all the great news over the last week I am expecting an awesome Nerdcast 5!
p.s I hope that Typhoon went ’smoothly’ for Chris and he can continue the show soon!
