If you’re a Sega Nerd tired of playing your classic games in the arcade and want to see their sequels at home, then you might be eagerly awaiting the Sega’s release of Alien Syndrome on the Nintendo Wii and PSP.

But I’m sorry to tell you you’ll have to keep waiting. But to help tide you over, we’re giving you enough Alien Syndrome goodies to satisfy your needs several times … if you know what I mean.

In the game, you’ll play as Earth Command Trooper Aileen Harding as she battles aliens, mean bosses and all sorts of other not-nice beings. Alien Syndrome combines the sci-fi shooter genre with the depth and customization of an RPG, according to Sega.

Throughout the game, you will encounter more than 100 enemies, 15 sub-bosses and five main bosses, while using hundreds of different weapons, armor and other bonus times. Additionally, you’ll be able to choose from several classes that have their own attributes.

The Nintendo Wii version will feature four player co-op, exclusive mini-games, a unique control screen, while the PSP version features four-player wireless multi-player.

Developed by Totally Games, we can expect to see a summer release on both platforms.
