SPOnG Confirms NiGHTS

There’s a hell of a lot of NiGHTS talk whizzing around of late, and it’s hard to tell what’s true and what’s nonsense, but SPOnG of all places thinks they have cracked it. Today they have announced that a brand spanking new NiGHTS game will be heading to the Nintendo Wii. Skeptical? You have a right to be boys and girls, I mean, this is SPOnG after all. Their track record isn’t exactly squeaky. So as you read this, please take it with a pinch of salt.

I would love for it to be true, but I’m not blowing my load until Sega is all like, “Yeah its true lol.” I suggest you do the same in case it turns out to be something completely ~~crap~~ different like… Mario Party 38.

I’m pretty sure this is just Spong shooting in the dark again, and then if anything is confirmed they’re going to point back and say “We told you so!”

Spong aren’t very credible, I think this would be the 8th time they claim NiGHTS sequel is in the making.
Spong are basically a rumor site + press release aggregator.

I remember how SPOnG ‘confirmed Halo 2.5 with Online Co-Op was to be released with every 120 gig Xbox 360 hard drive.’

Plus, I don’t think that Sega would, after they decided to reveal the new game exclusivly to ONM, turn around and be like “You know what, let’s tell SPOnG instead.”

No one would believe them even if it were true.
