First Screenshots of The Golden Compass

The first couple screenshots of Sega’s upcoming The Golden Compass were released today. The platform wasn’t specified, but they do look pretty nice.
The Golden Compass is based on the upcoming movie of the same name, which is based on the book of the same name if you’re in North America. The game is scheduled for release this winter, before the movie’s December 7th theatrical release.

The screenshot with the polar bear doesn’t really look very next-gen to me, but it still looks too good for the PSP version. Hmmm.

I meant next-gen as in PS3, Xbox 360, Wii.
