Sega calls back new PS3 ‘Virtua Stick High Grade’
According to IGN-uk the recent launch of Sega’s new Vitua Sticks for the Playstation 3 version of Virtua Fighter 5 has hit a brick wall. Sega is now recalling all Virtua Sticks (released on Feb 8th) due to a fault that has just come to their attention. A strange problem with the device, that at times, makes it fail to register lever and button inputs. The company has now stopped sales of the device (shortly after they had begun) and is looking into the issue.
So for anyone who could not wait for the US or European launch of the game or the peripheral and decided to import from Japan will need to contact Sega or their importer for more information on how to get a new device or refund.
Sega have said they will (of course) refund any purchases, more details are due to be announced on Valentines day (that’s the 14th Feb - for you hopeless romantics out there).Â
Happy Valentines Day SegaNerds!
