Full Auto2 - Teaser Trailer
Posted by Graham. Filed under Microsoft Xbox 360, Video.
I personally think that Full Auto is still one of the best Xbox 360 games to date and is one of the most under-rated games on the system. So if you are like me, you will be gagging for any information on Sega’s next installment. Still only due out on the PS3, which for 360 nuts is a shame, the game boasts more of the same, but bigger explosions, better effects, faster gameplay and a neat death-match mode (not shown in video).
As far as I am aware, the video shown here does not show actual footage, but offers a great taste of what to expect from the game - as all good ‘teasers’ should.
Enjoy.
NiGHTS Into Dreams 2 trailer?

Okay, supposedly this is a fan-made trailer, but by golly, it sure does look real. And how great would it be to see Sega release it on the Xbox 360? Shoot, how great would it be to see Sega release it on any system? C’mon, Sega, give us some NiGHTS love!
Charlotte’s Web mini-games available to play

I know you’re anxiously waiting for Nov. 14 when Charlotte’s Web is released on the GBA, Nintendo DS and the PC. But while you’re waiting, why don’t you try a couple Charlotte’s Web mini-games to whet your appetite.
You can catch corn on the cob and pretzels in Snack Time for Templeton or try to collect as many points as you can while parachuting through treacherous tree branches in Aeronauts. And make sure to be on the lookout because Wilbur’s Bale Out is coming soon.

Sega on the prowl for more studios
Posted by Chris. Filed under Interviews, News.
If you thought Sega was in financial trouble, well you couldn’t be more wrong. In fact, the company is actually looking to expand itself by adding new development studios said Sega Europe head honcho Mike Hayes.
“I think for Sega ‘west’ we probably need another two or three studios within the family to get to the critical mass we want to get. We’re aggressively wanting to work with more third party devs but having two or three in-house would be ideal,” he said. “Who they would be and when that will happens is based on the market and the opportunities that arrive, so we’re constantly on the lookout.â€Â
And Hayes didn’t stop there. “There are some projects being worked on in North America that will fill the gap in that area. And another big gap is movies – in the next few months we will be announcing another two big movie tie-ins,†he added.
It’s great to hear Sega expanding, especially in a time where many companies are closing down studios.

Japanese PSU commercial confuses me
Posted by Chris. Filed under Video. Tagged with Phantasy Star Universe.
It would probably help quite a bit if I could actually speak Japanese, but this Japanese PSU commerical makes absolutely no sense. I’m guessing the girl is crying because the moon has blown up and she really loved it. Awesome!
PSU ships today … seriously this time
Posted by Chris. Filed under Microsoft Xbox 360, News. Tagged with Phantasy Star Universe.
First, the Phantasy Star Universe beta was delayed, and now the retail version has been delayed. But rest assured, because Sega has just announced the game has shipped and is available at your local retailer today.
Also, the Xbox 360 version is currently experiencing server issues due to high-connection volumes. Due to this, anyone “attempting to connect may receive Interrupt Request errors preventing access to the online-game servers,” Sega wrote.
The beta was nearly crippled by this same problem, and it will be interesting to see if Sega can fix it by the time the game actually gets into U.S. gamer’s Xbox 360s.
Coleco releases new Sega handheld
Posted by Chris. Filed under News.
While it may not be the “Segaton” announcement Sega Nerds have been impatiently waiting for, a new handheld featuring Sega games is now on the market.
The Coleco Sonic Handheld, which, as the name suggests, is manufactured by Coleco, features 20 classic Sega games and retails for the very reasonable price of $50. The unit requires three AAA batteries and features audio and video output. Target is currently selling it instore and online.
The game list is pretty decent, having a mixture of great Sega games, like Altered Beast and Ecco II, with a few lesser known titles, like Snail Maze and Aztec Adventure.
For $50, this unit is a pretty good deal. Think about it, some classic collections cost just as much, and you’re only getting them on a lousy disc. At least Coleco is giving us an entire portable to play them on.
Be sure to check the jump for the full game list.

Sega releases new Sonic the Hedgehog video
Posted by Chris. Filed under Microsoft Xbox 360, Sonic, Video.
I know there were many gamers who were disappointed with the Sonic the Hedgehog demo released on Xbox Live a few weeks ago. Most complaints were the camera and the over-sensitive controls led to many untimely deaths. While those complaints are certainly justified, I still thought the game showed a lot of promise. However, let’s hope Sega has heard these complaints and plans on doing something about it before the game hits shelves.
In the mean time, though, all we can do is sit back and wait. And while you’re waiting, how about you check out this new Sonic the Hedgehog video Sega released today.

Pigboy lends voice in Charlotte’s Web video game
Posted by Chris. Filed under News, Nintendo DS, PC.
Sega has just announced Dominic Scott Kay, who voices Wilbur in the upcoming Charlotte’s Web movie, will add his vocal talents to the movie’s video game adaptation, which will be released for the Nintendo DS and PC Nov. 14.
“I love video games, and I’m really excited to have my voice in Charlotte’s Web,” said Kay. “I think it is so cool that the first game I’ve ever worked on is based on a story that everyone loves. I can’t wait for it to come out so that I can play it with my friends and family.”
In the game, players will travel through exciting locales such as Zuckerman’s Barn, a junkyard, the countryside and the county fair. However, the barnyard follies don’t stop there. Charlotte’s Web puts players in control of Wilbur, the pig, and Timpleton, the rat, and each level features a variety of mini-games.
